Two ways to run THOR ONE
A TAMP, or the technology.
Same system either way.
Most firms are offered a choice between outsourcing the whole investment operation and buying software they then have to staff. THOR ONE is one system that does both, so the choice is about how much you want to hand over, not which platform you end up on.
Way one: we run the investment operation
You choose the strategy: institutional managers from the marketplace, a blend of several, or your own models. Our trading desk places every order, rebalances to the models, and harvests losses daily. Billing runs from the same records that traded, and performance reporting goes out under your brand on the schedule you set.
This is the TAMP arrangement, and it is where most independent firms start. What a TAMP is, and the four kinds sold under the name.
Way two: you run your investment process on THOR ONE
Your investment committee keeps the models and the allocations. You update them on the platform; our trading desk places every order. Billing, reporting, planning, research and the CRM run on the same records, so nothing is re-keyed between systems.
You do not have to take all of it at once. Start with one piece, reporting or billing, say, and add the rest when you are ready. When trading is part of what you use, every order goes through our desk.
Under your brand
An enterprise runs on its own standalone instance of THOR ONE, branded as theirs at every level: address, logo, statements and disclosures, for the enterprise and for each firm inside it. Smaller firms are private-labeled on the shared platform. Either way your clients see your name, not ours. For aggregators and enterprises.
What stays yours, whichever way you choose
The client relationship and the advisory agreement. Your custodian, where your clients already are. Your investment discretion. And the right to leave: thirty days’ notice, with your full history in CSV and PDF at no charge. Written down here.
How to choose
If your best people spend their weeks on trading, billing and reconciliation, hand over the investment operation and get those weeks back. If your investment process is the reason clients hired you and you want it run your way, keep it and put it on one system. Most firms know which they are within a minute of the question. The call is where we find out together.
Questions this did not answer? Ask them directly — that is what the twenty minutes is for.
