Independence has carried an operating penalty for as long as anyone can remember, and the bill arrives as a stack: a subscription, a password and a support queue for every job in the firm. The firms that escaped it mostly did so by selling — to a parent company, to a platform that owns the custodian, to a term sheet with an earn-out. No one should have to sell their firm to get the operations of a big one. That trade is the thing we exist to remove.
An advisor's ceiling should be

Three things we will not do.
We are not your custodian. The advisory agreement and the client relationship are yours. Reports and invoices carry your brand, not ours.
We never compete for your clients. You keep the relationship you have. We never hold client funds or securities, and we earn nothing from your clients’ cash.
We never make it expensive to leave. Thirty days, your full transaction history, composites, billing files and invoices — written down here, before you need it.
Put plainly, and in the founder's words: we do the part that was never the point, so you can keep doing the part that made you start.
Why I built this
I have been sitting across from advisors since 2006. Different firms, different sizes, different states — and for most of those years, the same conversation.
They did not want more technology. They had plenty. What they wanted was for the technology they had already bought to stop being a second job.
I tried the tools myself. I daisy-chained them together, the way everyone does. I sat on hold. I sat in a chat-bot loop waiting for a person who never arrived. I watched good firms hire a third operations person to keep five systems agreeing with each other, and I watched advisors who were excellent at advice spend their weeks a long way from it.
Nobody set out to build that. It accumulated, one reasonable purchase at a time.
So we built it the other way around. One system, at the custodian the advisor already uses, with our own people running the part that was never the point.
The mission has not changed since: to end the tech trap, so the work can go back to being advice.

THOR ONE is run by UX Wealth Partners LLC, an investment adviser registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, a fiduciary by law, founded in 2020 in Centennial, Colorado and now one firm with THOR. It is multi-custodial, so accounts stay where they are, and we are not your custodian and never hold client assets ourselves.
